Hi again.
I've finally got around to fixing all the linux compiler warnings and submitting a PR. I also spotted and fixed some errors in the codebase (mainly buffer overruns). It builds cleanly on ubuntu 22.04 and 24.04, and I've tested it as much as I can.
I think you are the gatekeeper for elkulator so if you could take a look that would be great (I don't seem to have any ability to assign reviewers myself).

Note - This is my first every PR to a public project (I've done plenty of gitlab MRs in my career though). It's quite a big PR, apologies but that what was needed to get the warnings sorted.
