I recently got donated this from someone’s loft where it had lurked unused for several decades.
I set it up on the slabs just in case!
It all seems to work fine with the transformer producing around 16V (rated at 13.5V, 10Va I think) - I get power to the cars and the wheels spin like crazy. But the cars don’t move. The wheels are basically hard plastic with zero grip. I assume at some point they were a softer rubber?
I know little to nothing about these other than I really wanted one as a kid and never got one.![:cry:]( "Crying or Very sad")
It looks like I can take the cars apart:
I assume I will need to change the braid at the front at some point but can I change the tyres / wheels? If so do I need new old stock or can I use modern wheels? No idea what fits what.
