Is the file “Data” being opened? If not file% will be zero and thus the channel error.

How can I tell if the "data" file is open for sure, still getting that error



Been at this all evening now Martin and not making much progress with either method
via the BBS Host program.

Aside from you seeing whats going on and looking at the setup in detail I doubt
anyone can debug this. I tried everything you suggested and the new BASIC only prog.

Thanks for all your effort with this, sorry I haven't managed to get it working as yet but
I'll keep trying, hopefully I find a way. Usually persistence pays off.
