That's really helpful, thank you. Can I still access A% - Z% from my pre-load BASIC splash screen if I've written in this memory?
I’m not sure - how are you accessing A% to Z% from your assembly code?

Also, are you returning from assembly back to BASIC? If the latter, then you can’t use that bit of memory… (Edit: just seen BeebMaster already made this point.)

By the way, when replying to people, the quote button is really useful (the one with a “ in it). It automatically notifies the quoted person, so makes it much more likely that people will respond. I just did it above - it’s much neater than copy and paste. :D
