questionable behaviour. I saw you were reading the About section and then went quiet.
The system will disconnect if it goes too long without a key press.
Previously to you there were a couple of attempts from someone who tried to
avoid typing anything in for a Username etc.. I am fine with new users obviously.
I don't need any real details from anyone. I just don't want some anonymous character coming in
and actually hacking my router while pretending to browse the BBS.
There is a firewall setup which should prevent any mishaps but I 've been surprised at the
amount of attempts like this especially on a BBS which up to now hasn't been up very much.
The board will become much more regular now in the evenings. Actual schedule
will be probably each evening (officially 8pm to 11pm) but will likely
be earlier and slightly later in reality. Just cant guarantee I'll be home to log it up
every night promptly hence the narrow uptime window.
I'll look out for you tonight. From what you wrote are you connecting via Dialup?
