The CUB 3000 is quite a different beast - it has the same main board as the older CUBs but the video sections are unpopulated and it has a completely different neck board with all the video circuitry on it onto which the video input cable is directly plugged.According to the video posted, this Cub is a 1455 model which is shown to have analogue and digital DIN sockets on the back, and a speaker so I think it's different again from the Cub 3000 (which also has sound).
The chart in the brochure shows the Cub 3000 as not being compatible with Beeb/Master but I wonder if it's essentially the same PCB and just has the links set for analogue instead of digital. Although I did find in a neighbouring thread that changing the more usual Cub model from digital to analogue has no adverse effect on the BBC RGB display.
I also wonder if either this 1455 model or the Cub 3000 would work with the Domesday System straight off.
I'm pretty sure I don't have one of either, but I think I need to do a Cub audit, as they have all got mixed up in the move.
The one I've got has a fixed cable which terminates in a DB9 connector (presumably for an Archimedes)
I'm not sure if there are any switches or jumpers but the usual ones are absent.
