I've checked and rechecked those traces and they all have continuity. I guess there may be some capacitive load somewhere but there aren't many places to hide!Hi, i would check those traces in the back of the board carefully , seems some of them are broken. Top side too. Check the connection between the vias and the traces. They can all be replaced with a bit of Kinar wire and a lot of patience.
I had the same problem with an A3010, almost all traces were damaged in the back of the board. With the board repaired came almost the same problem as you have. The original Floppy drive didn't work. Tested the board with a Gotek and the A3010 worked flawlessly but not with the original drive.
In the end, changed it for a Samsung PC Floppy and it works fine.
I've checked the drive in a RiscPC and it works flawlessly. I have a GoTek coming so I'll try that out to see if it fares any better.
