Some of this has already been done in earlier products, like the Integra-B, and I think there is a BBC B ROM which emulates many of the Master MOS commands (it might be called MASTER ROM, but I think there is also a MASTER ROM for Master 128!), so maybe have a look at how earlier code implements it.
A power-on reset holding down R (incidentally you can also do it during an FX 200,2 reset) will reset all the CMOS RAM settings to zero on MOS 3.20, except location 0 which is is the Econet Station number. I think, though as I appear to have an everlasting battery in Station 201, I haven't tested it much, that MOS 3.50 resets the settings to sensible values instead.
