Introduce Yourself • Re: Hello, and thanks for letting me in!

Good afternoon folks, thank you so much for allowing me to joint your group, very much appreciated.

I was brought up using Acorn equipment namely the BBC B and Master 128 at both primary school and secondary school. I really fell in love with the BBC B and have so many fond memories of these awesome machines.

I have recently come into ownership of a BBC B system from a family member. This system has been recapped back in 2018 and last week I took it for a spin, it worked great for a few days but now will not output to my monitor which is an old colour television through the RGB to scart cable sourced on ebay.

I no longer get the nice two tone beep on switch on either. The caps light still lights on power on but nothing on the monitor. When I took ownership of this machine there was a wordwise chip rattling about inside but I do not want to seat this in worry that I cause further damage.

I have included two photos of the main board and was really looking how I could being this old girl back to life.
