Update:
I now have my 8GB (micro) SD Cards working for my Domesday SCSI interface. I had to Full Format the card - but not with Windows full format! Instead with the 'official' SD Card formatter. However, they still won't work in the Pi-1MHz setup.
I purchased a Sandisk 8GB card (SDSDQ-008G-E1) which does work in the Pi-1MHz set-up.
Conclusion Pi-1MHz software is not compatible with 'some' SD Cards. Is there anything that can be looked-into?
I'm waiting for a different Sandisk 8GB card (CL10 - lower cost) will report back when tested.
