Most certainly . . . I'm surprised your Electron turned-on at all! Usually a ROM fitted backwards just shorts out the Power Supply and shuts everything down.My new Plus 1 Support ROM arrived this morning and after installation, I'm now getting the "RH Plus 1" on startup and both *ROMS and *HELP show up correctly. Not sure if this is relevant, but the notch on the chip for the new ROM is installed facing the other way around compared with the original. Would this have been a likely cause of the problem? I've not swapped it around to test as not sure if that would cause an issue.
It would be worth trying the original ROM the right way round!
