@origami_camera - Are you using a USB Serial adaptor or a direct RS232 port connection? The errors do sound like a lack of hardware serial handshaking because it has to be said, UPURS just works and has been stable for very many years. Hence, if it doesn’t work, one of the system components must be faulty and if Dave has tested the cables and the AP5 (which also just works ![:)]( "Smile")
