My point was that, IMHO, part of the BBC experience is using the keyboard with red fn keys and the layout we know and love. Any remake will have to incorporate this aspect and so, if I was to do this (which I won’t) the first thing I would focus on would be the keyboard and, by making it a usb device, this would expand the potential number of purchasers for the keyboard beyond the potential purchasers for a “new” BBC micro- and could potentially reduce the cost given the potential scale of demand
