Mmm not had much luck. The CF->IDE adapter card seems to work and has power (red led) without needing the molex power connected.

Then the power jumper is not set to use berg-connector power.

I’ve setup a pi2

Skip all that messing about - just format it with RISC OS in the A3000.

For this ICS IDE podule does anyone know if it need the !IDEFSFormat (i don’t have this) or should the !HForm or !PartMgr be good enough?

I tried hard to love PartMgr but it was never reliable IME. YMMV. But yes, I believe it's always best to just use the software that's specific for the IDE interface you have. HForm is no good - that's only for ADFS. Get IDEFormat here : https://www.stardot.org.uk/forums/viewtopic.php?t=10558
