Have you checked that the -5V is connected and has -5V on it? I fixed up a Beeb recently that had everything on the -5V rail destroyed. I'm not sure how that happened, I know it is not regulated and is prone to PSU capacitor failure, but that usually means low voltage and lots of high frequency noise. I had to replace both LM324s and the RS423 serial output buffer IC75.
