Been running the looped version for around three hours and no issues. So calling this screen issue transient for for now.
I have a load of nos ics coming to me from twisty wrist arcade in US. Planning on swapping out 6845 and 6502 and seeing if that improves stability when things are hot.
Also have some cooler? cmos 256 eeproms on way.
If that doesn't then I will break out the freeze spray. And I might also just give in and install a c64 heat sink set and a noctua fan to see me through the summer months.![:)]( "Smile")
