Depending what you feel like, I made a modified chip for mine to give it all 8 ROMs like the Master, with ANFS, DFS etc also in it.. it does mean you have a 1mb 32 pin chip that actually over hangs the socket by 2 pins but it fits and it works, which is then rewired to appear as a mask ROM. ![:)]( "Smile")
The problem with the compact is there is basically no space above the system ROM before the keyboard when everything is assembled so you can't use a normal Master style adapter.
Someone did make a board that plugs into the ROM sockets, and the moves the sockets a bit further away so you can then use two 27512 roms and a 74ls to make them work as one mask ROM.
