They do, but at least on the A4000, the drive select and motor enable for the second drive aren't wired up. A3010 might be the same.I believe A3010/A3020/A4000 does what A5000 does and just scan all possible IDs anyway, so may not even need to worry about that. I've an A3020 which has a 'normal' PC floppy drive in it (case slightly 'adjusted' to cope with the different size/position of eject button) - I could check.
I'm looking at making a second drive work on an A4000, but I think it'd mean some cut-and-jumper work to convert it from Shugart to PC drive select. I figure two cuts and four jumpers. The comedy option would be to patch ADFS, then it "only" needs one jumper.
I didn't know about the A5000 Demuxer PAL. I'll have to dig out the schematics and see if I can figure out the logic. I wondered why ADFS had four drives in the drive-select scan table.
