Yes huge +1 to this - I have it on my Beeb Master and Elk and it’s truly a game changer for development and still gives that real hardware feel despite developing in VSCode in my case.Or there's the UPURSFS variation of HostFS at https://sweh.spuddy.org/Beeb/UPURSFS (which works nicely with my TubeHost; https://sweh.spuddy.org/Beeb/TubeHost/README.txt - which uses a more disk oriented approach).
I find this combination so convenient; write a program on my Linux machine, perhaps assemble it with BeebAsm and the result is directly accessible on the Beeb.
