Thanks for that - there are a lot of apps that are not games on arcarc.nl, so a shame not be able to access those, as ADFFS seems only to be games.Only slightly naive - for the ARM code it's 99% the same as it was (with some gotchas), but the graphics and sound chips are completely different and games had a tendency to directly poke the hardware for speed!I had thought that using a Pi with an ARM chip inside was kind of native is that terribly naive? No, any serious software that has been updated in the last 25 years works fine, and pure BASIC programs, but it's those pesky old games that are the big problem. Also, there are lots of current RISCOS systems on sale that seem to be based on the Pi - does that mean that they are all very limited in what they can do/what software they can run?
Rather than be a full emulator, what ADFFS tries to do is let the games run natively but then jump in when they try to do anything hardware specific and emulate that bit. The thing to remember is that once you have opened the disc image with ADFFS, do NOT double-click the game's icon. Instead select "Boot disc" from the ADFFS iconbar menu so that it gets to watch what the program is upto and fix it.
You can use PackMan (should be in the Apps folder) to install games in an ADFFS prepackaged format - https://forums.jaspp.org.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=472
