IR transmitters replaced with AM4457F3C from mouser and the mouse is working perfectly too.
Had some 3.70 ROM's hanging about so put them in and now its booting nicely and the CD now works after searching on here for the right *fx command to load the CD module. I imagine that I could put a rewriter in so that it can read RW disks (even if there isn't the software to write) and would be a more efficient way to get software onto the machine.
Have installed a few games too though Elite is far too fast![:)]( "Smile")
Next on the list is to test the music/midi card and I need a 10base2 to T converter to test the NIC.
Not sure if to invest in a strongarm upgrade though.
