Hopefully moving relevant discussion from another thread...
Maybe I should have posted a link to the updated MOS GitHub README: https://github.com/tom-seddon/acorn_mos_refreshed/ - is that any better, do you think?

P.S. I also intend to remove some of the earlier releases from the releases page, since they don't include the prebuilt 128 KB ROM images that are useable as-is. That would let me strip out a bit more of the wording from the README. GitHub issue for tracking this: https://github.com/tom-seddon/acorn_mos ... /issues/76
I think that's actually more me not making the README clear enough! I added the README link to my post to give an idea of what stuff was in the updated MOS, but then glumly noted when reading it in situ that there's not really any immediate direct call to action. That's precisely why my post included the link to the releases page (that BigEd also posted - thanks!), plus a note about which release to download... but I do think the point is quite valid.I hate github, why is there never just a simple link to the files you wantIf you're experimenting with updating your Master's MOS ROM, you might like to try one of my updated Master MOS versions, with performance improvements, bug fixes (including Y2K fix: the year is always 20xx now), a few minor new features, and some code rearrangement to make it easier to replace some of the supplied ROMs with new ones: https://github.com/tom-seddon/acorn_mos ... refresh.md - this is the OS I used in my own Master 128.
