Nope, you'll find they're just taken to LK3.
Actually I think the relevant lines might be Sndrq/Sndak, neither of which are actually mentioned in the TRM!
That's the boys. You may have checked them for continuity, but have you checked they're not clobbered and actually show life?
You'll find (slightly) more info about these signals on page 6 of the VIDC20 datasheet.

I still think it sounds like you've got a duff VIDC if it's showing stripes during POST because during POST it's not 'drawing data' to the screen - it's just pure border so any striping would be internally generated within VIDC alone - very odd. Can you grab a photo of that happening?
How are C86 / C90 ?
