I use PAM as buffer for the WiFi board, SAM it’s an excellent buffer for BeebOPL and the LEDs indicate how much of the buffer is full. Palette is also nice to have and the RTC is set at every boot when the INIT program is run. I haven’t used the profiling much yet.
I'm wondering which of the Atom2K18 feature's it's worth including (and possibly pushing into the shared AtomFPGA_core module):
- PAM
- SAM
- Palette
- RTC
- LEDs
- Profiling
What's your opinion of the PAM / SAM memory idea? Is it something you have used much?
Not really if you don’t have the additional hardware. Is there any test code that I can run when I'm finished to confirm it's working?
Is once a year during the ABUG-NL regularlyDo you still use the Atom2K18 (FPGAtom) regularly?
