I don't recall getting a set of Beebug disks, so it was likely Baz4096 who was sat next to me.Just a note that I gave a big box of Beebug magazine discs to either baz4096 or PhilPem at the Camberley ABUG before last, they may be sitting waiting to be archived (or they may have turned out to be bitrottted!)Although we have a decent number of the Beebug magazine cassettes, I don't think any of the discs have been preserved. Now, it's likely that much of the software that's on them exists in other places, but it would be great to get actual images.
Incidentally someone did give me a small white box of BBC disks to image at that ABUG but neglected to put their contact details inside ... I'd like to find out who that was!
Re the discs mentioned - Lintrack is a PCB CAD package, I think? That's up my alley if the disk is readable.
The Prestel demo sounds really interesting, I don't recall seeing anything like that in the archives. (I've a bit of a Teletext/Viewdata interest so seeing actual, saved Prestel pages would really be something; I'm not aware of many)
Packet Radio would be amateur radio software - again up my alley. I don't think much of this was archived as it would have been distributed through radio clubs. There's been a bit of a resurgence of interest in packet and I'd love to try it out on my BBC sometime.
No idea what Besom Workstation / Control software / Documentation would be -- I suspect some kind of machine interface. Probably good to get them archived, then you can look at them in an emulator and decide if they can be released.
