At the time I had planned to put games I commonly used into roms, and forget all the tape disc nonsense of bad loads.I'm not sure that I understand what the OP is trying to do here but have a look at the Advanced Rom Manager (ROM) which had two functions for running Programs from a ROM
I know gotek might be the way forward, but couldn't see why it shouldn't work with rom
