Thanks for your guidance, after much beeping and an instance of not beeping it turned out to be a missing connection between IC65 pin 7 and the trace on the back of the board running vertically that forms the connection to pin 9 on the 81LS95ANs.

So that bit where I said "As it happens the CAS0 bank is already socketed, so it may be a continuity issue."

A patch wire and we're back in the room at 32K with the S25 North

This board has had some work before some goodish some really not so good, but now it works I can tidy up the mess.

Thanks for your guidance on what your rom shows too Tricky, always handy to know.

Strange that Andre's rom was showing a pass on the Ram test although I suppose strictly speaking the RAM itself is fine.

Time to give it the old Planetoid burn in test.
