Hi, I wanted to take care of my A410 today (got it some times ago, but didn't had time until today to power it on). I'm stuck on something very simple: I don't find a way to output something. First I thought that the DB9 video output is similar to CGA and therefore I tried a RGB2HDMI, without success. Then I googled a bit and found out that it's not at all CGA. I have a small extension called VIDC plugged on the motherboard, but its looks disconnected (only the ground is hooked to the backplane, another wire is hanging in the case, and there is a jack lead on the outside attached to the board. I tried to remove the board and putted the jumpers back (I think that it's designed this way), but it doesn't help. The only think I manage to have is a text line "acorn ADFS" scrolling trough my analog monitor if I put a cable on the BNC monochrome output and connect it to the composite lead of the monitor.
I understand that the VIDC clock the video chip at a higher rate to be able to achieve a better scan rate, but I don't know if this is needed in my case.
Given that my goal is to run RiscIX on this machine, what is my best option? I have a 15Khz compatible monitor (NEC LCD 1970), but I don't know if this help.
Thanks!
