I’m still in the same position as before…..
1. As before, use it as a doner machine for a replica motherboard.
2. Just cut my losses, and sell it as a project for someone else to progress.
Not sure yet …. It’s £70 for the new motherboard then the additional components on top ….

I’m in two minds now I have a nice fully functional A3000….I’m playing with another A3000 I got to help me fault find on my battery damaged one. It turned out to have no battery damage at all, was an issue 3 board and had a 4mb upgrade already installed. I added a hard drive and DOM, cleaned up the case and it looks almost brand new …… result …. So damaged one may become a doner for replica board, if I can successfully remove the big SMD chips…
