Just a thought on this increase of low quality silicon coming out of China....
We know the U.S. is making it difficult for China to get U.S. silicon.
We know Taiwan is the other major silicon fabrication terrirtory.
We know President Xi wants Taiwan, but Taiwan doesn't want China. Rumours abound that should China invade they would trash their own fab plants.
Is this surge of low quality silicon China ramping up its abilities?
You can't just start making high end GPUs, you have to step your way there, learning, improving.
And, there is only one ARM!
Is there an economic policy to ramp up their countries ability so as to eventually produce high quality silicon that they can no longer source from elsewhere, and in the walk toward it, flood the market with the output and see what comes back?
