Introduce Yourself • Hello fellow Beebers

Hello all

Im a relatively oldish yorkshire chap whose second computer was a Model B back in 1981

I had it and cherished it for the next 7 years, building and expanding it over time to include sideways ROM boards, Doube 40/80 disk drives, Cub Monitor, Expson FX80 Printer and even a Hybrid Music 500 box.

Sadly, my youthful desires got the better of me and the minute I got to use an Amiga I sold the lot for an absolute steel.

Anyway, now, many years later, I am rediscovering my youth.

Just obtained a half decent Model B Issue 7 along with an SD Card Reader and a Sideways Rom Board, although Im waiting for an email to get a IFEL Board - hopefully in the next couple of weeks.

Im a bit of a tinkerer, being an engineer, so I am hoping to get building with a LOGO Turtle type robot to try and encourage my grandkids into the basics of programming.

Hope to stick around a while and learn everything I have forgotten and a whole lot more from you learned people on here.
