I'm looking at it and wondering if it is linear. There are two very large inductors on the base board, I usually only see such sized devices when dealing with SMPS. I have seen a couple of these bodge PSUs but they used TO3 style 7805 and 7812 and yeah, got damn hot ![:lol:]( "Laughing")
